So much evenness.
You need to balance it out by acquiring my decidedly odd r7 skeleton shield with -1/stance and -20% disease.

Very nice collection you have there. I was going to say that even the gold amounts are all even.... but looking back at the last 20 posts.... all gold items seem to have an even merch sales price which have been posted in this thread (recently at least... didnt have the time to go back through the whole thread).
EDIT: Thanks for the info Max... thats good to know... but damn... I was hoping to sell this completely legit shield

Yep, all gold values are even. That was how we caught out a photoshopper a few years ago for posting (fake) awesome items here.

It was Hyori, and he has deleted his fake pics anyway. It was around page 38 onwards, which it seems is coincidentally just after I started collecting.
/edit
Kromp will be in contact about that massively awesome shield of manliness in due course.

It's because purple and gold items have their value multiplied by two and four respectively.

Dat manly legit one-of-a-kind shield!!! Dang, I never laughed so hard...at work...in an office environment. It was epic, and awkward in the same instance.

Now I know why you wanted the crystalline so much.
There are a lot of superlatives thrown around in this thread, perhaps a bit too easily. However, this set is pure awesome. There aren't the words to express just what a magnificent job Stuey has done folks.
What we have here ladies and gentlemen is a set of absolute perfection, comprised of the rarest weapons known to exist. To assemble three of the finest items like this is simply jaw-dropping.
This is Guildwars history right here, and this set will be sung about around campfires for generations as the tales and legends of collectors are told and re-told.
Stuey, I salute you.
Max

Very nice! I have to compliment your taste...but when it comes to manly standing, it's all been done before (on p.8 of this very thread):

Nobody forgot, Captain. Nobody forgot. The world is a better place today for displaying all this awesomeness.
However, to assemble a set like Stuey has here in today's collecting climate is every bit as much of an achievement as when you assembled yours old chap. Remember the hoops you had to jump through a year or so ago to acquire the serpent axe? (Or was it the dwarven axe? I can't remember...)

Yes, the same sword. I traded it away as part of the deal for the unconditional axe. Before then, it had been in my collection (unknown to just about everyone) for years. The person who traded me the axe quit the game soon after and sold off the items I traded him at ridiculously low prices. The sword went Jock and then was then shuffled around among the usual crowd. That is how it got to Tooburns and now to Stuey.
...and that's Jason, not my man Burnsy
@Max: I haven't jumped through hoops for years...that image (which contains both of the axes you mentioned) was from (believe it or not) 2011. Time flies.

Ah right. Y'see, this is what happens when we get old.... The hoops I was referring to was fairly recently, and I remember you had to assemble a pile of armbraces for something... I was fortunate enough to be fairly loaded at the time, and was able to assist you in this by relieving you of some dual reduction shields....
But just as I walked into this room a few minutes ago, and can't remember why I came in, I have forgotten what the item you were hoop-jumping for was....
But there was definitely hoop jumping involved

What I most like about my new path in this game is that I get to see all of these amazing collections and I know what they mean. Every time I think I've seen it all I get blown away again. Amazing set Stuey and thanks for reposting those links Captain.

I think the hoop jumping Max recalls was for the r10 Dwarven you bought off of me, Cap'n.
While buying all the braces on his game play schedule would have required significant hoop-weaving acrobatics, we decided instead to just go outside of town a couple times and play dodgeball with stacks of ectos.
